Every Monday, I get a motivational message coming across my emails from Belinda Ellsworth, a speaker that presented at Convention 2009.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0Here is her message, I smiled as I read it as my 14 year old daughter is dead set about being asked to the sweetheart dance at school, she is sure and ready to have the resounding, “NO!” waiting for the already afraid young man that dare ask her.\u00a0<\/p>\n
WOULD YOU LIKE TO DANCE?<\/strong><\/p>\n “Opportunity dances with those who are ready on the dance floor.” — H. Jackson Brown, Jr.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n While I believe that most opportunities are those we make for ourselves, I also know that many opportunities simply arrive in front of us, asking, “Would you like to dance?”<\/p>\n The question is whether or not we are ready to dance with Opportunity. Or must we say, “I don’t know how to dance. I haven’t prepared.” Or, “Hold on for a minute while I go get ready.”<\/p>\n Either way, Opportunity says, “That’s okay. I will find someone else. I may be back again, and perhaps you will be ready then.” What would you say today if Opportunity arrived and asked you to dance?<\/p>\n Opportunity can be an impatient suitor. If you can’t or won’t dance, he will find someone who will. So, get your dance shoes. Take your dance lessons. Get a new suit or dress.
